Spare Parts Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to expand our customer base for spare parts.
  • Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities through networking, cold calling, and industry research.
  • Manage and grow relationships with existing key accounts, serving as their primary point of contact.
  • Understand customer needs and provide technical advice to identify the correct spare parts for various industrial diesel engine models.
  • Prepare and present technical quotations, negotiate terms, and close sales agreements.
  • Collaborate with our procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and customer interactions in our CRM system.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs as set by the management.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven experience in a B2B sales role, preferably within the industrial machinery, automotive, or heavy equipment sectors.
  • Strong technical aptitude and a solid understanding of engines, mechanical components, or related systems.
  • Fluent in both Czech and English (written and spoken) is essential.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • A self-motivated, results-driven individual with a proactive approach to sales.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with CRM software.
  • Valid driver's license (Category B) and willingness to travel to meet clients as needed.

Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Direct experience selling spare parts for industrial diesel engine brands (e.g., CAT, Cummins, Perkins, Deutz, Volvo Penta, etc.).
  • An existing network of contacts within our target industries (e.g., construction, agriculture, power generation, transport).
  • Experience with international trade and export/import procedures.
  • Proficiency in another language such as German or Russian would be a significant advantage.
